HNS JOURNAL, Entry #4

THE JOURNAL

Hello HNS Insiders!!

I’d like to thank you all for being Early Adopters of Happy, Not Satisfied! Early Adopter is a term taken from the Law of Diffusion of Innovation that I learned about from thought leader Simon Sinek. It means you believe in the mission of the Happy, Not Satisfied movement and saw its benefit from the beginning!

For all of you Early Adopters, I am thrilled to announce the release of the Happy, Not Satisfied T-shirt line! Share your passion for the mindset movement and your interest in finding joy from growth with others with one of our four HNS shirts!

Also, for all of the leaders out there, please contact me at daniel@happynotsatisfied.com for discount options on bulk orders for your organization! We can even put your group’s logo on the sleeve to make it unique and meaningful.

I first heard about Simon Sinek from my great friend and mentor, Jeremy Spicer. I had the distinct pleasure of talking to Jeremy recently about how he built his business, his approach to relationships, and the importance of wellness.

Check out Jeremy’s approach to initiating and cultivating relationships:

Some of you may have seen an article I released this week about the WHOOP. I wrote the article because the WHOOP was a very important part of the health transformation I experienced (and am still experiencing!).

The article seemed to resonate with people because WHOOP tweeted it (VIEW THE TWEET), it climbed to number one on the WHOOP Reddit page, and it has thousands of views on Medium!

I am incredibly passionate about the WHOOP because it has truly changed my life for the better. Whether you are an athlete, fitness enthusiast, casual exerciser, or simply someone looking to learn more about yourself and how to improve your overall health and longevity, the WHOOP will work wonders. If you are interested in trying the WHOOP, click HERE for a free band and $30 off your subscription!

I am THRILLED to announce I will be going live with my dad, David Morrison on the Happy, Not Satisfied Facebook page this Thursday at 7:30pm Central Time! My dad is my greatest mentor and role model, and one of the most brilliant and creative people on the planet. He was the only music teacher to ever win Teacher of the Year for the state of Illinois, and his storied band program at Prospect High School achieved just about every honor and accolade you can imagine. You will NOT want to miss this chat!

Classical Music Isn’t Boring!

I am on a mission to make classical music feel more accessible and entertaining to people that do not have a background in the arts. Each week, I will share a clip of classical music that is relatable, engaging, and exciting in a series entitled, “Classical Music Isn’t Boring.” This week is the Simón Bolivar Youth Orchestra under the direction of Gustavo Dudamel performing "Mambo" from West Side Story by Leonard Bernstein. I dare you to watch this video without smiling!
