HNS JOURNAL, Entry #9
THE JOURNAL
Hello, HNS Insiders!
Exciting things are happening with Happy, Not Satisfied. Southwestern Musician magazine offered me the opportunity to write about how to implement the Happy, Not Satisfied mindset and approach to school music programs to shape organizational culture. I am honored that they published the piece, and it is out now in the November issue! Click the link below to read the article in digital form.

In Case You Missed It

Classical Music Isn’t Boring!
Mahler’s 8th Symphony is nicknamed “Symphony of 1,000” because it literally takes nearly 1,000 people to perform. The instrumentation calls for a double wind section, off stage brass, a massive choir, a children’s choir, and of course, an organ! This video shows many of the most famous orchestral conductors of all time leading the orchestra through the culminating moment of the piece and gauges their level of enthusiasm as they do so!
